Reliance Partners has assembled a team of talented
professionals from the investment banking community. These business finance professionals have in-depth industry knowledge, strong
relationships, and the ability to deliver one stop advisory and
financing solutions. In addition, the firm's professional network
from leading financial institutions have significant transactional
experience in all major industry segments.
Reliance Partners is managed by Mr. Don Christensen. Don Christensen is the founder, organizer, and
managing partner of Reliance Partners, LLC.
Mr. Christensen is also the President of Green Energy International,
Inc. ("GEI"),
a renewable energy project developer that specializes in solar energy
deployment. GEI identifies, develops, and finances viable renewable energy projects.
Prior to Reliance Partners and GEI,
Don Christensen founded U.S. Capital, Inc. He
conceived U.S. Capital’s asset backed bond
program secured by life settlement life insurance policies. These
bonds were designed to be
privately placed with qualified institutional buyers. While an underdeveloped and evolving market ultimately made a saleable
transaction difficult, Mr. Christensen gained valuable business and
management experience and developed many key relationships during the
time he served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the merchant
bank.
Mr. Christensen began his career with Edward Jones, a member of the New
York Stock Exchange. He managed the investment firm's La Jolla, California office.
During his two years as manager of the La Jolla branch office, Mr. Christensen was
able to increase the assets under management 3700%.
Mr. Christensen received numerous awards during his tenure
at Edward Jones, including the prestigious Edward Jones Regional Leader Award.
Mr. Christensen attended the United States Air Force Academy during his freshman year at college. He transferred to the University Oregon for his sophomore and junior years and earned his Bachelor of Science in three years. Mr. Christensen also pursued his Master of Science at the University of Oregon. He was a graduate teaching fellow in the Department of Motor Control and was instrumental in the set-up of the university’s newly formed ocular-motor control laboratory. After concluding his studies at the University of Oregon, Mr. Christensen moved to San Diego to begin his career with Edward Jones.
